A picture that I like

Hi again, this is my last post, and this time I'm going to tell you about a photography that i like so much.

About almost two years ago, we were without classes for internal problems in the faculty, and one of the those days one friend arrived to the university wanted go to Santa Cruz, because her best friend had an exposition.

Nobody planned to travel on this day, but it was so funny. We just took the few things that we had by hand and went to the bus terminal. We had taken two buses, and traveled a lot of hours, but we arrived before that the inauguration of the exposition ended. This night we stayed in the friend's house of my friend, and the next day, we went to know the town.

In the evening we went to visit the museum. The museum was very big, and had a lot of kind of things, since a piece of arts until animal's fossils, even was there a room dedicated to the 33 miners.

In the museum you can't take photographies. A guard of the museum scolded to my friend a lot of times cause she wanted take a picture, and even threatened her with throwing her out of the museum.

I think that the problem was taking photographs to the pieces of arts at the museum, because when i wanted to have a photograph of me with a dinosaur, i didn't have problems.

For all these things I like so much this pictures. It reminds me the trip to Santa Cruz, and how fun is doing things without planning

How green are you?

Hi again

This post is about the environment, recycle and all the hippies things related. Personally I don't participate much in actions or politics of environment care. Not is that I am against it, but simply is not the case.

In my house we don't recycle, cause the persons that pick the trash finally mixing all in one container. I don't ride in bike, because I don't like. I continue using plastic bags, just for for costume and comfort.

Thinking well I don't make much for care the environment, just  I don't dirt the streets, I never throw trash in some place that don't be landfill. And maybe, the most that I make for the environment is don't eat meat, nor eggs neither milk.

The livestock industry pollutes so much. Furthermore of exploit to the poor animals for a bit of money, also they exploits the earth. In some places the jungle is changing to cultivable field for feed of animals of the industry. Not just this, the most of gases of greenhouse are caused for the livestock industry. For what to talk of the pollution of the water, with the manure and urine from the animals, also the antibiotics and hormones.

So, the veganism is the better way to care environment jejej

A movie that I like and and movie that I hate

Hi again

Time ago that I don't write here, but I'm here again ahahha. Today I will talk about two movies, one that i like a lot and other that  i really hate.

Recently I saw "The Straight Stoy", a Lynch's movie, and I liked a lot. This movie tells the story of Alvin Straight, an old man that traveled from Laurens (Iowa), until Mt. Zion (Wisconsin), maybe you don't knows about this places, and less where are ubicated, but are maaaaaaany many kilometers between both places. Alvin decides to travel for meet again with her brother, that he don't sees more than ten years ago. As he can't see well and doesn't has enough money, Alvin makes the trip on a mower.

This movie is really beautiful visually and has a special rhythm, her own time. All happens with calm, like the grandparent's life, unhurriedly. The landscapes of the movie are really amazing, and the story is poignant too.

On the other hand, a movie that I really hate is "Three Steps Above Heaven". I always hated the corney movies, but this hate more. My little sis and her teenagers friends enjoy seeing this movie, and i can't understand like they, and the people in general, can enjoy this kind of movies, with trite stories and the same characters of ever. Where, everybody knows, don't happen nothing new. Is so bored.

My future job

Hi again

Today I' m going to talk you about my future job. In a little time more I'm going to end the university career, and every time more frequently I think in what I 'll do, when i 'll ending to study.

I pretend continue working in my own artistic production, maybe be difficult at the beginning however I want to do it. Really I have desires of have a workshop where doing things, and later show this things, througth the organizing of exhibitions with friends or others artist that be in the same that me. I really wanna be an artist jajjaj

Some times, also I think that is so difficult be an artist that better i' ll be a homeless. Some people can talk that this not's a job, but they don't know that live in the street really is a occupation. One have that be all the day trying to find what to eat, or what to do for kill the time, even be an homeless can be more difficult that be an artist.

I don't have clear what is my real job, and less what is my dream job, but today this are my two options. Some days I prefer one option, and others days the other. In ten years more I could be an artist, or a homeless, or maybe i will be a performatic artist believing themselves an homeless.

The Perfect Song

Hi

Today, I'm going to tell you about one of my favorites songs.

I think that choose just a song is so difficult, i have a lot of favorites songs and a lot of favorites albums, and the kind of music that I listen is diverse too, thus the choice is very difficult.

However. the last days i was remembering a lot an album, and specially a song. maybe for that I choose "Casino Royale" like a perfect song.

This song is part of an album, with the same name, of the chilean band of Hip Hop Makiza. Even though this album was launched once the band met up again, at beginning of 2000's, with one less  of the originals members and two new members I think that this album shows a growth of Makiza.

Makiza ever make remember me my childhood. I still remember when the "Rosa de los Vientos" sounded in the radio, or time after when some participants of Makiza lent their voices for the animated serie "Pulentos". But with Casino Royale happens special something, I don't remember my childhood however with this album i can remember my adolescence,  the times of High School. Until to my sixteen years old, i listened just Hip Hop from Spain, and in that year I began to listen chilean hip hop. The first song that I listened was "Casino Royale" and  i felt that i had grown up like Makiza.

A day I will always remember

 Hi again

A few time ago,  I was thinking about my last vacations. I traveled with a group of friends south of Chile, specifically at the Patagonia and probably this trip I never forget jajaj

One day of that one trip  that I sure will not forget, was when we went to the National Reserve of "Cerro Castillo", ubicated in the Aysén region. The view from this hill is really amazing, you can see the city like a very smallest point, sorrounded for little slopes of water and a lot of vegetation. The principal atractive of the reserve is the glacier, and for arrive at here is necessary to walk a long way.

I am not exactly an athletic person jajja and really I consider me quite lazy, but this day I was able to walk sloping the 16 kms that separated me of the glacier without problem. Some times i  though that i was not able more, and I wanted to return, but after a while I felt better and though  that i was very near of the glacier. Fortunately I  could get alive at the top of the hill and up there I did appreciated the hours of trek, and of the good that i felt. After to arrive at the mountain top and see the glacier i felt able for everything.

Here a picture with mi friends in front of the glacier
 Cheers

An artist I admire

Hi everyone

In this time I'm going to talk about one of my favourite artist. He is Christian Boltanski.

Boltanski was born in París the 6th of September of 1944, and luckily still alive. He left the school at 13 years old, because he wanted paint. Christian is an autodidact artist, that develops his work in the field of the archive and the installation.

Boltanski works principally with the memory and memories. He picks up daily objects of the people who have died, like an intent of fight against the oblivion. I like so much the Boltanski's work, because he not leave nothing to the luck, all in her work is planned, until the minimum detail.

He is able, with a few things, of to generate an aura in all that he makes. When one see her work, immediately remembers someone that now not is between we. Boltanski makes use of theobjects of the daily life and resignifies them, giving them  an personality.  I think that this is an important aspect in her work and think too that this inspires my own artistic production.

Here I leave the video of one of my favorite works of Boltanski: "Animitas", an installation made in the Desierto de Atacama a few years ago.

A country I would like to visit

Hi everyone!

Today I'm going to tell you about one of countries that I'd like to visit.

The first country that I'd like to visit is Italy. Because I think that's a country packed with history, not just culturally but architecturally and artistically too.

I think that the italian architecture is something really amazing, above all by the time in that were built. Is impressive that a lot of constructions have lasted so long time. I would like so much walking for the italian streets and enjoy seeing the architecture and visiting museums.

I like a lot the pizza and the pastes, but i don't eat meat, chesse neither eggs and this is a problem at time to lunch. I imagine that in Italy should be easiest find vegan and delicious pizzas, I'd like taste it!

if i had the chance to travel to Italy, i'd like go alone. Because, i think that's an interesting idea consider a trip to a different country, and a different culture just in company of oneself.

I think Italy is a very beautiful place, i'd like to see how the past and the present are mixed in there. The italian architecture is something really amazing, I can't imagine the quality of the materials and the way that the ancient Romans built these huge constructions that prevailed for so many centuries.

I'd like to see a lot of lanscapes, buildings churches and as many museums I can see, cause I was reading that Italy has a over 150 museums. I wish when I travel there I have enough time to see a lot of things and, also I would love to try a lot of pastas and pizzas. Probably I would find more vegan options there than here.

Hi again

In this post, I'm going to write about the best concert I've ever been. This was in November of 13' and it was the first version of a Festival called Frontera and was realized at Club Hipico. In this time more than twenty five bands played in three differents stages. This line-up was perfect cause it was full of artists that I like. I had the oportunity to enjoy the music of Molotov, Chico Trujillo, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Tiro de Gracia, Cultura Profética, Anita Tijoux, Los Tetas, Como Asesinar a Felipes, Movimiento Original and Villa Cariño. My favorites presentations were Los Fabulosos Cadillacs cause its one of my favourite bands, and Tiro de Gracia, a rap band that has been with me since I was little but when I started to like them they were'nt together and that was the first presentation in a lot of years without playing shows live. In this time they presented 'Ser humano', a crucial album from chilean rap recorded in 1997.

I had a great time this day, I remember I went with two of my best friends and everyone were anxious waiting that TDG played the classic songs of 90's. I don't know how describe the feeling of listening that band live, i've waited for this for a lot of years and i thought that i would never have the chance to see it. You can't imagine how much happiness i felt that day.
